Special Olympics Sarasota County has worked to improve the lives of hundreds of Sarasota County athletes through its year-round sports training and competition; however, the movement has only reached a small percentage of the with developmental disabilities in our area.

Special Olympics Sarasota County does not charge its athletes to train and compete in its activities; therefore, it becomes a challenge to provide every person with an intellectual disability the opportunity to participate and benefit from Special Olympics sports training and athletic competitions. There are a number of ways, however, that you can help make this happen. Donations can be made through stock, planned giving, or you can mail your tax deductible contributions to P.O. Box 2112, Venice, FL 34284.
