Special Olympics Sarasota County has worked to improve the lives of hundreds of Sarasota County athletes through its year-round sports training and competition; however, the movement has only reached a small percentage of the with developmental disabilities in our area.

Special Olympics Sarasota County does not charge its athletes to train and compete in its activities; therefore, it becomes a challenge to provide every person with an intellectual disability the opportunity to participate and benefit from Special Olympics sports training and athletic competitions. There are a number of ways, however, that you can help make this happen. Donations can be made through stock, planned giving, or you can mail your tax deductible contributions to P.O.
